The Council of Canadian Child Heath Research (CCCHR) serves as a national advocate for child health research in Canada.
The well-being of our society depends upon the health of its children and the success with which they become productive adults. Our responsibility is to look after our most vulnerable citizens. Child health research is important to ensure the present and future health of Canada’s children.
CCCHR members offer a number of training opportunities for postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and undergraduates. A few of these trainees have shared their experience and contributions.
CCCHR works in close collaboration with a larger coalition of organizations concerned with child health issues, including all seventeen children’s hospitals in Canada, the Paediatric and Surgical Chairs of Canada, community paediatricians, families, and an innovative Canada-wide clinician scientist training program.
